Have you noticed several Christian themed movies being released this year?

Is it me or is this happening more often?

These movies must be making money, because if they weren’t they would be difficult to continue to produce.

Don’t get me wrong, I hope they make money. The more the better!

I thank God that he is raising up men and women to invade the entertainment world.

I’m sick of some of the trash Hollywood produces and the influence they have on our culture. I am proud that we are standing up and making an impact.

There are at least three major motion pictures being release this year that have a strong, open Christian messages. They are…

Soul Surfer In theatres now.
Based on a true story of a girl who looses an arm in a shark attack while surfing and comes back to successfully compete again. I plan on taking my daughter to see this soon!

Fishers of Men Theatrical release this year
This movie based on the short story which you can download for free at their website.
The message of the film is “forgiven to forgive” and is targeted at believers and non believers. I was blown away by the short story and can’t wait to see the movie.

Courageous Theatrical release on September 30, 2011
This is a movie with a message near to heart. It’s about Father’s standing up and being the Godly dad they were called to be. This movie was inspired by the last verse of the Old Testament, Malachi 4-6, “And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers before I come and smite the earth to ruin”

I believe this message is similar to The Father’s Blessing and cannot wait to see it!

There is a long way to go before Hollywood is taken over by believers. But it can happen.

God is up to something.

I call you blessed!
